It is a pleasure to announce our third meeting on neuroinflammation taking place from February 28th to March 2nd 2013 in Bonn.

We intend to cover mediators, molecular mechanisms and clinical implications of neuroinflammation. Therefore, we have dedicated a key lecture and an entire session to the emerging topic of inflammasome activation in neurological diseases. In addition, we have composed sessions that focus on the role of astrocytes and microglia, ApoE and the use of recent technical developments in the field of neuroinflammation.

The meeting also highlights the European FP7 initiative on neuroinflammation (INMiND) as well as the start of the Bonn Cluster of Excellence - Immunosensation.

Renowned speakers will cover neuroinflammation topics and connect their recent findings and insights to clinical observations and development of novel treatment strategies.
